Boot won't unlock.
Hi all. I have a 2015 3008 and last Saturday my boot started to not unlock. No matter how many times I press the button on the latch, nothing. The result of this is that I have had to unpack my car (currently on holiday) and will need to somehow pack it up again from the inside with the rear seats down. The usual click sound you get isn't there anymore either. I tried to get at it from the inside but there appears to be no way of unlatching it from inside. I have it booked into a Peageot garage but that isn't for another 3 weeks. Any advise would be greatly appreciated.

“ Further to my last post I got my wife to lock me in the boot, I soon realised that I needed a torch. I always keep a small screwdriver in the (useless) glove compartment. There is a small recess at the top of the locking catch, if you look down into it you will see a small white piece of plastic, push this to the left to release the lock. BEWARE it will set your alarm off”
Don’t know if it helps. If he couldn’t open it how did he get his wife to lock him in.

That's fine for getting the boot open, but doesn't rectify the underlying issue of the boot not unlatching. I have the same problem and it's driving me insane. Really trying to avoid taking it to a garage as I can image the bill won't be cheap!Steve C wrote: ↑Thu May 23, 2024 8:31 pm Someone posted this a couple of years ago
