Hi.
For some time now I can feel clutch pedal vibrating when pressed right down to the floor.
If I press it down 4/5ths of the way, the clutch is still disengaged, this vibration goes away, is not felt at all.
(Neither is any vibration felt when the clutch is engaged, i.e. the pedal released).
Only recently it has developed slippage in 5th or 6th gear, so I think the clutch is on its way out.
But I am wondering what is the likelihood the flywheel may need to be replaced?
Oh, and if the revs are very low, and you engage the clutch in 1st or reverse, there is a rattle from somewhere in the transmission.
Can anyone with experience give me some insight as to what may be going on?
