Monitoring radar fault and immobilizer fault - Peugeot 3008 2017 pure tech allure
Starting sporadically getting the battery charging fault message, mirrors not always opening, etc while on holiday in France. Went to a Peugeot garage. They put diagnostic computer (no charge) on it and back came the answer - its the bpga. To suply and fit replacement 499 euros but would take 2 weeks to get the part. We were coming home long before that so now will look for an independent who can do the job as well as getting quote from main dealer.
PeterD: Hope you get it sorted soon but I'm very impressed with the French dealer who did a free diagnostic! We could do with more of that over here. I read on another forum today where a dealer didn't have a bpga in stock so might be worth looking at Aliexpress to compare price and delivery time. 499 euros sounds an honest and comparable starting point for the part and fitting.
Good luck.
Good luck.
Hi Peter,I'm not a mechanic by any stretch,I had a pal with me who is an engineer and quite handy,it's just a case of taking your time, take pics, and being methodical,it's basically a case of about 12 disconnects and reconnects after isolating battery and a couple of other connections.no pairing is required after everything is connected, just switch on and go the process cured all my probs.and all been ok after about 400 miles
There is a video on YouTube, it's in Turkish I think but it will give you a good idea about whats required, just search bpga...good luck
