I bought my 2014 peugeot 3008 in may 2023 i bought my car from peugeot dealer hq to be fair.
Before i got the car was a farce i signed paperwork on 22nd may 2023 my car was still with garage on 2nd of june where it failed its mot with a broken spring i was told it would require a new spring and one was ordered i stated on the phone it needed both replacing i was told they were only replacing broken one toldthem if they dont do both im terminating sale on car.i was told both will be replaced.
Car passed its mot on 6th june 2023.
Luckly car came with spotify warranty its had 2 driveshafts.
Fast forward to yesterday there was knocking comming from car as if loose metal was tapping all cv joints,driveshafts,bottom joints and lower suspension was in good order i had got mechanic to order top mounts for car just in case it was them yesterday car was dropped off to replace top mounts passenger side was done but mechanic had said top mount was bad started on drivers side spring was broke and top mount had disintegated when removed from car.
Should top mounts have been took out when spring was done or have peugeot put them back in and ignored them.
Mechanic is amazed it didnt collapse when driving

Hi all top mounts were shot ,drivers spring was snapped all have been replaced along with track rod end shock absorbers were found to be in good condition.
What was found lower wishbone driverside has a split in busch not sure if this is culprit or not but the pair will be replaced.
